Method and device for state-dependent micro interaction execution

A system includes a processor that is configured to start an instance of a micro interaction that requires a driver's reply to a question issued for execution. The processor is also configured to receive a command issued by a passenger waiting command instructing a delay in the micro interaction. Further, the processor is configured to wait a predetermined period of time according to the output from an occupant wait command and then to present the micro interaction to perform again.
