A new propagation model for 2.4 GHz wireless LAN

This paper presents a detailed study of large-scale path loss on wireless networks operating in accordance with the standard IEEE 802.11g at 2.4 GHz in indoor and outdoor environments. A new propagation model is proposed. A comparative analysis of the existing and proposed models and the effects of the temperature and relative humidity on signal attenuation is made.
