Adjustable Speed Drive System Based on IMC

A design of adjustable speed drive system of induction motor(IM) based on the internal model control(IMC) principle is proposed in this paper.Experimental methods are used to establish the induction motor speed loop control system model.The controller is designed based on the internal model control(IMC) principle and the structuer of speed controller is PI.But it has only one adjustable parameter that is directly related to system performance.The experimental results based on TMSLF/2407 DSP Motion Control Platform(MCK2407 Pro Kit) show that the structure of the designed speed controller is simple and easy to adjust the parameter of the controller.The adjustable speed drive system has good dynamic characteristic to meet the induction motor speed control requirements.
