Binary sequences with good aperiodic autocorrelation functions obtained by neural network search

Binary sequences having good aperiodic autocorrelation functions (ACFs) with low sidelobes have found many applications. However, few good binary sequences are available for large sequence lengths. Apart from the well-known Barker sequences, the best possible sequences up to a length of 48 have been obtained essentially by an exhaustive search. The authors present binary sequences up to a length of 100 with good aperiodic ACFs, derived via a neural network approach.
