Research on the Cultivation of Creative and Practical Ability for Engineering Management Students

This paper analyzes the educational status of the major in engineering management in Chinese University, points out the deficiency of current educational system for cultivating students’ innovative and practical ability. Learning from other countries’ advanced educational experience, and based on authors’ experience, the thesis  puts  forward that  IT use in teaching, cooperating with enterprises, training students in practical engineering circumstance and R&D project are effective methods for students’ comprehensive ability cultivating.
