Power Supply Multisource Solar/Battery For Electric Scooter

This article is a contribution to the study of a hybrid source in electric scooter aiming to solve the principle problem of fuel and fuel-related pollution nowadays. The model description of the powertrain includes two energy sources a PVG used as the principle power source and storage batteries used as secondary source. Using an auxiliary source can minimize the stress power applied on the main source. The PVG-battery power sources are connected by two DC / DC converter to create power transfer to the pull part containing the BLDC drive. The main source is connected to Boost converter that controls the MPPT strategy. Finally, An energy management method is used to satisfy load energy requirements and restore energy at saturation. That is why a buck-boost converter is used to control the battery bank. The objective of simulating the system model is to test the control strategy and energy management efficiency of this scooter while it is subjected to different loads. The simulation results obtained show interesting achievements.
