Redescription of female of Paranthrene insolita polonica

A redescription of a female of Paranthrene insolita polonica Schnaider 1939, based on the holotype of this species, is given. The type is one of the few known female specimens of Paranthrene insolita Le cerf. The female genitalia of P.insolita are described for the first time. Distrubion and biology of the species are presented.
