Design of composite virtual objects for service entity creation in WoO based IoT environment

In recent years, physical things are becoming empowered with computation capabilities which enabled conversion of everyday objects into information appliances. Internet of Things (IoT) envisions a world where small intelligent objects around us that, through unique addressing schemes and standard communication protocols, are able to interact with each other and cooperate with their neighbors to reach common goals. Most of the IoT based applications are built based on the service provided by sensors and actuators. One of the most challenging task is to develop composition of these services and collaboration among these objects. To meet these challenges, Web of Objects (WoO) targets the implementation aspects of IoT to bring the assorted real world objects with web applications. The paper introduces a concept and design of Composite Virtual Objects (CVO) in WoO for IoT environment to compose services and to create collaboration among physical objects to build intelligent service features.
