Reliability Analysis on 2 M Transmission Channel

2 M transmission channels are widely used in longitudinal current differential protection system.This paper makes a study on rely protection channel,2 M hitless switching technology and equipment,introduces the solutions for channel failure,alarm,error as well as the asymmetry delay of transmission channels.Based on the simulation and on site tests,it points out that the reliability of data communication can be improved by 2 M hitless protection equipment,at the same time,the paper also proposes some effective methods for dealing with transmission channel delay.
