Regulations in 2000 and beyond

To meet the demands of future regulations, water utilities will need to anticipate and strategically plan for future regulatory requirements. Regulatory trends for 2000 and beyond are reviewed so that water utilities may achieve compliance within required time frames. This article is JOURNAL AWWA's annual review of the US Environmental Protection Agency's drinking water regulatory agenda under the Safe Drinking Water Act.
