EFFECT OF MR DAMPERS ON SHOCK ABSORPTION FUNCTION OF A VEHICLE SUSPENSION SYSTEM

By using Bingham plasticity model, this article analyzes the relationship between the current of a semi-active suspension system and factors, such as, state-space vector, structural parameters and etc. Then the article analyzes how the absorption function of the vehicle suspension system is affected as the structural parameters of MR dampers change. Based on the analyses above, the level of the correlation between the absorption function of the vehicle suspension system and the fatigue wear of MR the dampers are studied.
