Research on XML based Web data integration

In order to implement operations between sources from distributed and isomerous data in the Web,and to realize global operations, the data integration is needed. After analyzing the merits and demerits of the integration models,a XML based virtual method of data integration is put forward.XML is regarded as a public format of different sources in this method.By establishing mappings between different sources and XML document data models,a virtual method of integration is realized.This method facilitates the implementation of data integration. An example is included to verify the feasibility and the validity of the method.
