The HL-A system: evidence of a third sub-locus.

In the serum of a multiparous woman lymphocytotoxic antibodies were found which seemed to be directed against a ‘new’ HL-A antigen; AJ. Population and family studies indicate that the respective genetic determinant might belong to a third sub-locus wihin the HL-A chromosomal region.
