ClusterStream: A P2P Streaming Service Based on Regular Structured Model

Current theories and systems do not satisfy the requirements of P2P streaming on Internet in aspects of large scale, high quality and low cost. The transmission model of overlay network is the key factor. This paper proposes Regular Structured Model for P2P streaming including overlay network theory and management mechanisms. We developed ClusterStream a high service quality streaming system based on RSM and service-oriented architecture. We also test our model and service system by simulations and practical experiments.
