An Approach to Group Decision Making Based on 2-dimension Linguistic Assessment Information

The fuzzy linguistic approaches have been applied successfully to deal with the linguistic assessment information concerning decision alternatives. However, these approaches can not make effective use of the linguistic assessment information concerning the dependability of decision maker's subjective judgement. To overcome this limitation,we present a new tool called 2-dimension linguistic assessment information and apply it to group decision making.Firstly,2-dimension linguistic assessment information is expressed by the frame of subjective evidential reasoning. To aggregate 2-dimension linguistic assessment information reasonably with intricate debate,a conflict analysis method is proposed to improve combination rule.To rank decision alternatives,a corresponding optimization rule is also suggested. In the end,an example confirm practicability and validity of this method.
