밀착조임 접합부를 갖는 비콤팩트 변단면 장경간 철골구조물의 구조성능평가

Current trends in steel construction are to use tapered sections to minimize as far as possible the use of excess material, by choosing the cross-sections to be as economic as possible leaving by that the classical approach of using prismatic members. In addition, it is important to predict the buckling behavior of tapered member with large depth-to-thickness ratio, in order to prevent the collapse of steel frame subjected to over loads. The large-scale tests of tapered steel portal frames with non-compact sections was conducted. The primary test parameter was bolt connection method and loading condition (vertical and horizontal load). The test results for initial stiffness and load capacity were investigated.
