Couple-group consensus of multi-agent systems with directed and fixed topology

Couple-group consensus problem of continuous-time multi-agent systems (MASs) with directed and fixed topology is addressed in this paper. For the MASs with directed topologies and agents described by linear time-invariant systems, necessary and sufficient conditions of couple-group consensus are derived under mild assumptions, that is, the couple-group consensus can be guaranteed by the Hurwitz stability of coefficient matrices. Simulation results are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the theoretical results.
