Academic performance correlation with the qualification of final projects in civil engineering degrees

In the different degrees related to Civil Engineering (Civil Engineering Degree and Master in Civil Engineering) final projects usually became a "construction project" and rarely these projects are a "research project". The construction project consists of several parts, most of them has supporting calculations whose results will be reflected in construction plans. The student, to make these annexes, has to rely on the knowledge acquired in different subjects (basic and technological) studied previously. So the question then arises, is the qualification obtained by students in the Final Project Work "FPW" (construction project) correlated or not with the qualifications obtained in the subjects previously studied? The objective of the work presented in this paper is to try to answer this question by conducting a statistical study of the qualifications of a significant number of students.
