ATP 시스템의 안전을 보장하기 위한 전원, CPU 모니터링 및 Vital 입출력 회로 설계방안

According to the requirements which variety of functions to ensure the safety of trains, the train control system has been more emphasized the importance of the ATP system that is responsible for the protection of the train. If the ATP system performs incorrect operation, the train can occur the accidents such as derailment and collision and will not able to secure the safety of passengers. In this paper, we will propose a design method to ensure the safety of the ATP system from the design phase. The proposed method describes about the two cases. The first case is to cut off output by the faults detecting in the hardware circuit such as the power circuit monitoring and fault detection of the CPU. The second case is to cut off output by the safety function of the fault detected CPU such as the circuit failure of vital input and output. With fault detection and protection functions, although the ATP system hardware fault occurs, we will propose the design method to secure the safety feature.
