The invention discloses an automatic pitching machine, which comprises a frame, a lane, a ball support and a kicking machine and also comprises a ball basket, wherein a ball outlet at the bottom of the ball basket is connected with the lane the outlet of which is connected with the ball support; the kicking machine comprises a kicking bar, a kicking spring and a kicking bar driving mechanism; the upper end of the kicking bar is hinged with the frame, and the lower end of the kicking bar swings around a hinged point; the lower end of the kicking bar is pulled to the ball support by the elasticity of the kicking spring; the kicking bar driving mechanism is driven by a motor and drives the kicking bar to overcome the elasticity of the kicking spring and swing backwards; and when the kicking bar swings backwards to a limiting position, the kicking bar driving mechanism releases the kicking bar, the kicking spring pulls the kicking bar to return, and the kicking bar swings forwards to kick out a ball on the ball support. The automatic pitching machine continuously supplies the ball support with balls by utilization of the ball basket and through the lane, and the kicking machine is driven by the motor and can continuously service the ball, so that the automatic pitching machine is simple to operate and convenient to use, has good safety, and brings convenience to ball trainers.
