Low-RCS microstrip antenna design with CSRR etched ground

A microstrip antenna with reduced radar cross section(RCS) is presented. Complementary split ring resonator(CSRR) is introduced to the ground for low RCS microstrip antenna design. Comparisons with reference antenna demonstrate that the proposed antenna exhibits as much as 26.2dB RCS reduction while maintains radiation performance very well.
