This paper investigates unsymmetry Roller CVT shifting speed depending on the ring steering angle. Unsymmetry roller CVT consists of two unsymmetry roller and ring. The ring transfers the torque from the input unsymmetry roller to the output unsymmery roller. Because torque is transferred by friction, output unsymmetry roller axial force is needed in the contact points between unsymmetry roller and ring. Guide roller is installed in the ring for ring guide and shifting. Guide roller is connected to the steering plate. About the central axis of the steering plate gives the steering angle . Shifting is operated by ring steering angle. By changing the position of the ring the transmission ratio changes. And shifting speed is changed by amount of ring steering angle. In this paper, the results of the calculation of the governing equation and the results of the FEA were compared. And Shifting speeds depending on the ring steering angle were investigated.
