Auto-organization in human systems

The development of thermodynamics and cybernetics and their impact upon our world view and scientific episteme are discussed. The author proposes a new model of auto-organization in human systems, discussing the six subprocesses of autopoietic auto-organization and presenting a new typology of control processes. On the basis of this model the generation, maintenance, transformation, and solution of both normdeviant and normal behavior are discussed. Auto-organization is seen as one of 12 process patterns to be found in every transactional field. The description of these process patterns is suggested to be the basis for the development of a systemic ecoanthroplogy, i.e., a systemic theory of man in his world and with his world.
