Análise dos Cenários para Suprimento de Defensivos Agrícolas no Complexo da Cana-de-Açúcar

The supply chain management is an important tool to increase the agribusiness chain competitiveness in general, especially those in the sugarcane sector. Specific techniques and organizational linked to the production of sugar and ethanol reinforce this importance. The goal of this article is to present conceptions related to supply chain and identify, within the investigated opportunities, the most competitive way to realize acquisition, storage and distribution processes of pesticides, aiming at inventory level reduction and increase of reliability and the quality of the supply process of these materials. As a result of this paper, it was indicated the VOIM as the most adequate model for a company in the sugarcane area.
