HDM을 활용한 국도 포장 유지보수 공법에 대한 경제성 평가

In Korea, the superpave (e.g. stone mastic asphalt) was first introduced in the mid-1990s in order to set up countermeasures against rutting on national roads. This paper aims at suggesting an efficient maintenance policy minimizing expected life cycle cost considering traffic volume in future and the uncertainty in the degradation process of the pavement. Also the pavement deterioration models incorporated in HDM-4(Highway Development & Management-4) which is being used worldwide have been calibrated and adapted to local conditions. We use the observed data, such as rut-depth, crack and roughness for development of deterioration forecast models. Based on calibration result of HDM-4, the economic evaluation including road agency cost and user cost is performed for 22 road sections. Also we try to investigate performance and economic efficiency between superpave and conventional hot-mix asphalt(HMA) on national highway. As a result of the analysis of serviceability for 40 years, superpave was found to have higher resistance against rutting and cracking than HMA in most road sections.
