A Novel Migration-Aware Protection Scheme in Co-Existing Fixed and Flexible Grid Optical Networks

This paper addresses the traffic survivability issue in the migration scenario from fixed grid to flexible grid in optical networks, proposes a novel Migration-Aware Protection (MAP) scheme, and evaluates its performance under different traffic models.
