New Routes to 2,4-Diphospha-1,3-Diboretanes

Abstract 2,4-diphospha-1,3-diboretane 1 was prepared by dehalosilylation from a disilylphosphine (or a silyllithiophosphide) and dihaloborane 2, and also by reaction of n-butyllithium with chloroboryl-phosphine 4.
