강축방향으로 편심하중을 받는 H형강 단주의 탄소송거동 ( A Study on the Elasto - Plastic Behavior of Eccentric H-Column with Strong Axis Bending )

A method of lateral buckling analysis of I-shape steel beams by finite element method is proposed in this paper. In the theoretical formulation, the stiffness matrix of the element is extend not only for equally distributed moment but also for linearly varying moment. This scheme improves the calculation results considerably and proves to the useful for the quadratically distributed moment too. The results calculated by the suggested method are compared with the results calculated by J.W.Clark and H.N.Hill to demonstrate the applicability.
