Dust removal apparatus of optical disc driver

A dust removal apparatus of an optical device is provided to control high frequency applied to an actuator by using a microcomputer so as to remove dust effectively and enhance play and recording performance of the optical device. A dust removal apparatus of an optical device comprises an objective lens(31), an actuator(32), a microcomputer(33), and a dust amount sensor(35). The objective lens condenses laser beams. The actuator controls tracking and focus by driving the objective lens, and removes impurities attached to the objective lens by generating vibration. The microcomputer compares an RF signal reflected from an optical disk with a pre-set RF signal to judge whether impurities are attached to the lens, and controls the drive of the actuator and the frequency applied to the actuator. The dust amount sensor senses the dust amount attached to the objective lens.
