XXIV. Quantal aspects of scientific information

Summary This paper relates to the borderline linking experimental and theoretical physics with mathematical logic, and covers at several points ground which is common to the theory of communication. Its purpose is, therefore, to introduce in language as far as possible common to workers in all these fields, a quantitative approach to the analysis of scientific concepts and the design of experiments.
