Protection of local high voltage DC regenerative network on MEA

The growing demand of electrical power in More Electrical Aircraft network leads designers to review network topologies towards new architectures with reversible HVDC network including energy storage device such as supercapacitors. This paper deals with the simulation analysis and protection issues of such a network under short-circuit fault operating conditions.
