Etude structurale de combinaisons sulfurées et séléniées du molybdène. VI. Structures cristallines de PbxMo3S4 et de PbxMo3Se4

Crystals of CoMo2S4 and FeMo2S4 are monoclinic, space group Cc, with eight formula units in a cell; the structure was solved by the heavy-atom method and refined by full-matrix least-squares calculations to R = 0059 for CoMo2S4 and R = 0.057 for FeMo2S4. The two compounds are isostructural. Their structures consist of octahedral chains (MoS6) and (CoS6) extending along a and b. They can also be described on the basis of the molybdenite MoS2 structure.
