Обследование пациентов с инсиденталомой надпочечника

The problem of hyperdiagnosis of endocrine diseases is currently acute because of the widespread use and availability of laboratory and instrumental techniques (ultrasonography, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging). In routine practice, an endocrinologist more frequently faces a problem of identifying adrenal incidentalomas (an accidentally detectable space-occupying lesion without clinical symptoms). When an incidentaloma is found, an additional examination of the patient is required to exclude a respective endocrine disease. The paper describes the main lines of diagnostic examination of patients with adrenal incidentaloma.
