Mobile Robot for Cable

Disclosed is a robot moving on a cable. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a robot moving on a cable includes a first gripper unit (100) having a first driving wheel unit (120) to hold and fix a cable; a second gripper unit (200) having a second driving wheel unit (220) to hold and fix the cable; and a link unit (300) having a link driving unit (340) which includes a first link (310) fastened and fixed to the first gripper unit (100) and a second link (320) fastened and fixed to the second gripper unit (200), wherein the first link (310) and the second link (320) are fastened to be rotated in a predetermined angle by a main hinge unit (330), and the angles of the first link (310) and the second link (320) are adjusted. The link driving unit (340) includes a screw (343) mounted on the second link (320) and rotated by a link driving motor (344); a slider (342) mounted on the screw (343) to linearly be moved by rotation of the screw (343); and a rod (341) having one end portion fastened to the first link (310) to be rotated by a first rod hinge (3411) and the other end portion fastened to the slider (342) to be rotated by a second rod hinge (3412).
