Personal Identification Using Foot Print Based on Sophisticated Contrast Enhancement

118 Abstract One of the newly introduced biometric parameter is FOOTPRINT RECOGNITION. Footprint is universal, easy to capture and does not change across time. We use Footprint Recognition which is used for person identification and it will prove to be effective with image enhancement technique. Then image enhancement is carried out to obtain an accurate image. One of the main objectives of any image filter is enhancing the pictorial information of the image. In this paper, we use contrast enhancement technique for the processing of the image. Using this technique will bring a better result. The implementation of feature extraction and recognition here will enhance the system.
