Power dispatching asset management system based on RFID technology

An Power Dispatching Asset Management System (PDAMS) based on RFID technology is designed and implemented for the purpose of improving the efficiency of asset management in the dispatch center of Jibei Electric Power Company Limited. Firstly, aiming at the subordinate relationship of asset in the electricity dispatching system, an EPC coding scheme is designed which can reflect the characteristics of the topology, while encoding and details are saved into the MySQL database of the backend server. Secondly, the PDAMS structure on the basis of MVC framework is designed which is composed by the Reader Asset Management System (RAMS) for mobile client-database for backend server-WEB Asset Management System (WAMS) for front end. The RAMS based on the Android system through cascading query technology to achieve the functions of asset storage, the two-way communication between reader and server database and other functions. On the WEB side, Ajax and other front-end technologies are used to make the WAMS obtain data from the server and realize the functions of outbound storage, query and inventory of the power assets. The test results indicate that the operation process of this system is simple and quick, and it can significantly improve the efficiency of power dispatching assets management of Jibei Electric Power Company Limited.
