A study on the design of speed controller for induction motor using tabu search algorithm

This paper proposes a design process of speed controller for induction motor using tabu search algorithm. The proposed process has two parts. The first part is optimization of the initial parameters of input-output. And the second part is changing parameters of input-output using tabu search. Proposed tabu search is improved by neighbor solution creation using Gaussian random distribution. In order to see the usefulness of the proposed method, it is applied to the sensorless speed controller of an AC induction motor system. The performance of this approach is verified through simulation.
