Paroxysmal choreoathetosis associated with thyrotoxicosis

Acquired paroxysmal choreoathetosis can be associated with a variety of structural and metabolic disorders. A patient is presented who had paroxysmal choreoathetosis associated with thyrotoxicosis and who responded to treatment of the underlying thyroid disease.
