RECENT ADVANCEMENT IN RESEARCH OF QUANTUM COMPUTATION

Quantum computation is more and more attractive for its promising power of parallelism computation and simulating quantum dynamics effectively.We have introduced the basic principles,requirements,difficulties and possible solutions of quantum computation.Some possible systems for realizing quantum computation and the current progresses in these systems also have been given in this review.In addition,we have reviewed our experimental and theoretical work on distributed quantum computation and encoded quantum computation in the systems with fixed couplings between the neighboring qubits respectively.
