Virus-specific immunologic depression in mice following combined immunization and cyclophosphamide-induced immunosuppression.

The technique of antigenic stimulation followed by cyclophosphamide-induced immunosuppression was used in an attempt to produce virus-specific immunologic depression which outlasted the acute effects of the drug. A series of experiments indicated that this approach was feasible and that animals so prepared showed an enhanced susceptibility specific for the virus used for immunization-suppression.
