PEELED VENEER FROM DOUGLAS-FİR- INFLUENCE OF ROUND WOOD STORAGE, COOKİNG, AND PEELİNG TEMPERATURE ON SURFACE ROUGHNESS

In this study, the influence of round wood storage, cooking, and peeling temperature on surface roughness of peeled Douglas-fir veneers is under investigation. The parameters expected to be affecting the surface roughness are varied prior to veneer production, and surface roughness is mechanically measured on small veneer samples.
