The future of irrigated agriculture in Tunisia faces a number of problems, including the most important is the decrease in water use. This implies that the main focus of study and science of irrigation is directed towards maximizing efficiency. Therefore all progress must be achieved as a good knowledge of basic parameters involved in the process of irrigation. The field evaluation is important to know the performance and correct the faults of the system management. Infiltration is one of the most important factors in the design and management of the irrigation systems.
