Inventory management in reverse logistics: a survey

Reverse logistics has received various countries' universal attentions facing short of the global resources; while inventory management is playing a key role in setting up efficient closed loop supply chains. An introduction has been carried out on the key technique of development method and the state-of-the-art including hybrid manufacturing/remanufacturing system's framework, inventory model and algorithm, particularly inventory strategy and effects of lead time in reverse logistics. Some perspective viewpoints are pointed out in the last section of the paper.
