Study on Information Integration Management of Large Scale Engineering Construction Projects

The problems existing in information management of large scale engineering construction projects are analyzed in this paper. It is pointed out that in order to ensure smooth implementation and making final benefits of large scale engineering construction projects, the information standardization and integration management of the projects is required to enable the information to transfer, communicate and share among functional branches and participators at every stage. The paper introduces the aim and content of information standardization, offers the method and model of realizing information integration, points out that the information platform is a mode of information integration management of large scale engineering construction projects, and explains the function, implementation scenario and application result of this platform.
