Method and apparatus for adaptive power control

The invention relates to a method and apparatus for adaptive power control in a a radar transmitter and a radar receiver comprehensive radar device 520, especially for mobile applications in the automotive field, sent in radar signals and target objects reflected radar signals are received. The received signals are checked for irregularities. The transmitting power of the radar transmitter is reduced when irregularities occur and these irregularities are attributable to the interference from adjacent radar transmitters.
