A Location Allocation Problem of the Imported Goods Transportation

Based on the imported goods transportation from sea to river, this paper proposed a location allocation problem(LAP) with the following three capacity constraints in logistics network: the maximum batch capacity of each node, the total capacity of each distribute center, and the total transportation capacity of each vehicle were limited. The problem is formulated as a mixed integer programming and an corresponding algorithm is put forward, which first planed location, and then planed resources allocation, and solved the location allocation problem of WISCO imported iron ore transportation case by the model and algorithm.
