ENDOR of Yb3+ in perovskite-type crystals

ENDOR measurements are reported for the 19F nuclei in the first four shells of KMgF3 and KZnF3 containing Yb3+ ions in the cubic site. The signs of the hyperfine and transferred hyperfine interaction parameters are determined. An estimate of the crystalline lattice local distortion in the vicinity of a paramagnetic impurity is carried out.
