Research on the Circulating water channel Shape Optimization of a 1000MW Power Plant

In view of curved plane layout form taken by cyclical water intake channel of a 1 000 MW electric power plant,we have analyzed the adverse impact caused by curved circulation movement in the curved priming section through the model experiment.In order to contain the circulation movement and adjust velocity distribution,combining the structural arrangement characteristics and the relative position of the cooling tower person character column in front of the intake channel entrance,it is transformed into the streamline diversion pier to control the water movement of the pilot section.The model experiment indicates that the diversion pier effectively dealt with the direction of the water flow in the curved section and equalized velocity distribution.The measure serves as a guarantee for smoothly linking each section of the flow channel smoothly and balancing water flow of an inlet pool.It serves as a reference for similar engineering designs of flow channels.
