Software Defined 5G Converged Access as a viable Techno-Economic Solution

Software Defined Converged Access represents a feasible solution to effectively address 5G traffic demands. This paper proposes an integrated mobile-optical control for wavelength and bandwidth allocation. Evaluations of bandwidth utilization and techno-economic viability are provided.
