Web Page Evaluation using Ajax and Fuzzy Logic

Web page evaluation is one of the most important issues in the Internet. The click count of a web page is regarded as a good measure for the evaluation of its content. But, usually users click a page after looking at only the title. The click count may not a good measure for the content. In this paper, we suggest Ajax Log System to support more trustable and safety web page evaluation. Collecting users' visiting time and behaviors on web pages, we evaluate the value of each web page. We build the evaluation system colleting user's behavior with Ajax. The system evaluates pages based on the collected data and fuzzy if-then rules. In this paper, we compare developed system and the previous evaluation model. Our fuzzy rules successfully discriminate between web pages with good content and bad one.
